* What makes the GESPER different from any other product?

The GESPER uses a technology which incorporates electronics arrayed in a protected order designed to eliminate surges and spikes, protect equipment, prevent downline lightning strikes and eliminate harmful harmonic distortion.

* Will the GESPER interfere with any other energy saving equipment?

The GESPER must be installed away from VFD's, soft starts and soft stops. The GESPER unit may be used with all energy saving devices, however, special wiring may sometimes be required. We have diagrams for most scenarios. Our units lower the demand factor, without starving motors of electricity needed at startup.

* Will the GESPER damage my electrical system or any of my equipment?

NO! The GESPER is a passive device. In the event of a downline lightning strike or surge, the unit will absorb the spikes and if the surge is catastrophic, the unit will sacrifice itself to protect your equipment. In fact, the GESPER will prolong the life of your equipment by reducing the amount of heat generated by motors. By the reduction of heat output, air conditioning costs are also lowered.

* Where is the GESPER installed?

For a home, the GESPER is installed at the electric panel. For businesses, a Site Survey Analysis is required. This analysis aids us in sizing of units, number of units required and identifying potential trouble spots in the wiring.

* How does the GESPER save money?

The GESPER unit lowers apparent power that is read on the line side of the meter without lowering actual power supplied on the load side of the meter. In other words, the motors are still drawing the same amount of electricity but the meter is showing a decrease in the amount of electricity used, because the GESPER unit eliminates several factors that add to Kwh consumption. * Is this legal?

YES! The GESPER is not fooling the meter. It is supplying a purer form of electricity to the motor(s) than is being supplied to the meter. Also, by taking out the surges and spikes that the meter reads as apparent usage, the customer is only being charged for the ACTUAL amount of electricity used.

* How does it work?

The units work very well, but at this point in time we can not completely explain the exact reasons WHY it works. The units have been studied by Universities, who also have a difficult time explaining the details of why they work, but they do not deny that they DO WORK! * How does the GESPER save money?

Our units will reduce demand charges on your electric bill, reduce your kWh usage, reduce power factor penalties by raising your PF towards unity and lower your maintenance and downtime costs. The latter is a major consideration for large plants and industrial facilities.
